The band members are vague about the reason that they all found themselves in the small hamlet of La Moreau, South West France in the summer of 2014. It was a musical project they say but the details are sketchy.

Whatever the story, during that week they bonded over a common passion for rhythm and blues and discussed the idea of forming and starting to perform as a band when back in the UK. Later that year they met up to rehearse and the La Moreau band was formed.

Over the following years, they played regularly, honing their skills, their set and building a solid following.

At the end of 2018, then as a 4 piece, they re-branded themselves as the La Moreau Rhythm & Blues Band reflecting a now more varied, up tempo, boogie inspired set-list.

Playing a mix of rhythm & blues, rock n roll, soul, rock and other classics from the 50's through to the 80's, the La Moreau Rhythm & Blues Band are having a ball and have the crowd up and dancing wherever they play.
